Carbide cutting tools with coating on request

Another unique feature is that, on request, we can provide nearly each of the carbide cutting tools with a selected coating to achieve even better working results. These are special high-performance coatings such as TiN, TiAlN or ta-C.

Depending on the material and type of application, this results in a tool life that is 2 to 10 times longer than with uncoated carbide cutting tools and a higher breaking resistance of the cutting tool. We will be happy to advise you on the benefits and cost-effectiveness of coating the carbide cutting tools for your application.

Carbide cutting tools

We supply you with high-quality carbide cutting tools for any application as for milling work in wood and foam, plastic up to aluminium, brass and stainless steel and many other materials.

Use of the metal carbide cutting tools up to steel machining

In our carbide cutting tools assortment, you will find metal milling bits that you can use up to machining steel. The high quality of the carbide cutting tools in combination with the stability of our CNC machines guarantee precise results even with hard metals such as aluminium and stainless steel. An additional coating of the cutting edges for metals increases the service life of the carbide cutting tools in use.

The difference between ful hard metal and Carbide cutting tools

Carbide cutting tools and full hard metal milling tools are both commonly used in machining and cutting applications, but there are some differences between them.

A combination of tungsten Carbide and cobalt

Carbide cutting tools are typically made from a combination of tungsten carbide and cobalt, which gives them a high level of hardness and resistance to wear. They are commonly used for cutting and shaping materials such as steel, cast iron, aluminum, and other metals. Carbide cutting tools can be made in a variety of shapes and sizes, including end mills, drills, reamers, and inserts.

Full hard metal – solid cemented carbide

Full hard metal milling tools, on the other hand, are made from a single piece of extremely hard material such as solid cemented carbide. They are designed for high-speed milling applications and are capable of machining at very high speeds and feeds. Full hard metal milling tools are often used for precision machining of complex parts in industries such as aerospace and medical device manufacturing.

In general,

carbide cutting tools are more versatile and can be used for a wider range of materials and applications, while full hard metal milling tools are specialized for high-speed milling of specific materials and are typically more expensive.
