Only exclusively with us with a maximum speed range of 3,500-30,000 rpm (the regular type of motor only has a maximum of 25.000 rpm). Therefore this version is also top suitable for the smallest engravings or milling works, such as 0,6mm milling cutters and 0,1mm engraving tools. The Suhner milling motor with the electronics offered here and the speed ranges in this design (grey housing) you can only purchase from us because the manufacturer SUHNER has specially adapted this model to the high demands of CNC-STEP.

Robust industrial design

The milling spindle with a robust industrial design has large double ball bearings and a stable, thick-walled steel motor flange. Overheating and distortion are a thing of the past with this long-proven industrial milling motor with its large fan wheel.

Motor flange wholly made of steel for vibration-free milling

The high-quality double bearing in the all-steel motor flange ensures a clean and vibration-free milling pattern. The infinitely variable speed of 3,500 – 30,000 rpm allows the milling motor to mill or engrave Plexiglas, plastic, PVC or other thermoplastics cleanly and without melting at low rates, as well as to work at high speeds with grinding tools or the smallest gravers and cutters.

Milling steel no problem

The milling spindle is ideally suited for milling and engraving almost all materials. You can machine quickly various types of wood in the high-speed range, while even mill 6 mm steel in the medium speed range around approximately 15,000 rpm.

We have been offering this milling spindle basically to all customers and interested parties since we introduced the product into our range. The Suhner UAD 30-RF has a much lower heat generation than comparable milling motors. Besides, the milling motor’s design is much more stable, and it has high torque in the lower speed range for your milling work.

The drive is also quiet (only 72dB at 9000 rpm) and can be used for milling, grinding or engraving in a hobby room or business without disturbing neighbours or co-workers with noise pollution.

Carbon brushes for Suhner milling motor UAD 30-RF

In addition to the Suhner milling motors, you can also directly purchase the matching carbon brushes.

Depending on the daily use and application, the carbon brushes of the motor wear out, so that you have to replace them to be able to continue working with the engine.

Two carbon brushes are always needed for a motor, as the carbon brushes’ wear is usually even. Therefore, we also offer them in a practical set of 2.
