High-pressure pump with 3800 bar and up to 4.0 litres flow rate
All models in our waterjet series are equipped with Hammelmann® high-pressure pumps for water jet cutting. That means that depending on the application, you have the choice of either a 15 kW or 30 kW drive. This plunger pump is not only particularly low maintenance but also highly efficient. When using a nozzle with a diameter of 0.25 mm, the energy-saving can be up to about 36%, whereby the flow rates are between 2.0 and 4.0 litres/minute.
Independence in processing
If your production is continuously dependent on cut-to-size parts and the processing of subcontractors, you will appreciate it if short-term changes are possible. Prompt delivery times are also immensely essential to keep production costs in line and to maintain the supply to customers.
Besides, in this case, you can profit from the purchase of a water jet cutting machine. As a result you can move the cutting work to your production facility to ensure short distances and fast response times. This way, you work independently of third-party suppliers and can increase efficiency.
Water jet cutting machine with the regulation of the water level
Our waterjet works continuously underwater. Accordingly, this keeps operating noises and contamination of the environment to a minimum. The water level can lower at the push of a button so that for instance underwater processing of workpieces up to 80 mm high can be carried out with ease. Thanks to an adjustable water level sensor, the water level can be raised and lowered again within a short time after cutting.
High-quality abrasive system as a useful supplement
With the high-quality abrasive system from Allfi®, abrasive can be used instead of pure water. The supply system provides the abrasive dosage from the abrasive hopper with 120 mesh garnet sand and mixes it into the water jet in the cutting nozzle. Therefore, you can process for example hard materials such as concrete, ceramic tiles, stone or steel excellently. Furthermore, processing with the waterjet machine produces practically burr-free results.
Cut materials conveniently up to 150mm thick
With the high-performance pump from HAMMELMANN® with high pressure of 3800 bar, you can cut materials up to 150 mm thickness, such as steel, stainless steel or stone, cleanly and precisely.
Optimum utilisation of the water jet cutting machine through ConstruCAM-3D software
Finally our in-house design software ConstruCAM-3D offers, in addition to the already included advantages, an ideal component: the Nesting function. Here, the individual workpieces are positioned intelligently on the work surface in the nesting software so that as little waste as possible is produced. That means you work much more efficiently and with minimal material consumption.
